Diane P. Atkins, Campbell D. Barrett, James (Tim) Shearin and Diane W. Whitney were ranked as a "2015 New England Top Super Lawyer."  Additionally, Tim Shearin was ranked as a "Top 10 Super Lawyer."

The names of the attorneys selected to Connecticut Super Lawyers appear in the November 2015 issue of New England Super Lawyers, and in a special section appearing in the February 2016 issue of Connecticut magazine.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.   Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a rigorous, multiphase rating process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.  The Rising Stars selection process is the Super Lawyers selection process except that candidates must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for ten years or less, and the selection process does not include peer evaluation by practice area.
