The Supreme Court on Family Law During the Past Decade

by Jon T. Kukucka and Kelly A. Scott
Connecticut Bar Journal

Pullman & Comley Family Law attorneys Jon T. Kukucka and Kelly A. Scott authored an article for Connecticut Bar Journal summarizing family law cases decided by the Connecticut Supreme Court between 2010 and 2019. Many of these rulings changed the family law landscape in important ways, including recognizing the validity of postnuptial agreements; changing the standard for alimony modifications; addressing child support in high-income cases; clarifying the standard for contempt findings; and deciding that parties can agree to alter the terms of their judgement at any time.

Jon and Kelly break down the cases that have had a significant impact on the family law landscape. To read the full article, please visit www.ctbar.org.
