Overview
Bianca LoGiurato is an associate attorney in Pullman & Comley's Litigation and Labor and Employment practices. She focuses on commercial and employment litigation and has litigated a wide range of issues related to contract disputes, discrimination and retaliation, workplace accommodations, consumer complaints, fraud and misrepresentation, conservatorship and advanced healthcare directives, the Common Interest Ownership Act, and violations of the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act. Bianca has experience in the Connecticut Superior Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, as well as in alternative dispute resolution, small claims, probate court, and administrative law tribunals such as the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities. She has also spent many pro bono hours appearing on behalf of tenants facing eviction in housing court. Her diverse experience in litigation informs the counseling she provides to clients, to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate. She brings a pragmatic style and collaborative attitude to the work she carries out for clients. Her flexible strategic approach is particularly effective when navigating challenging negotiations.
Prior to joining Pullman, Bianca assisted in the litigation of Federal Employers Liability Act claims at a boutique insurance defense firm. While in law school, she mediated employment discrimination disputes in UConn Law's Mediation Clinic, and prepared legal research and strategy memoranda related to housing discrimination as an intern in the Department of Justice Office of Civil Rights Enforcement. While completing her coursework, Bianca served as the president for the Lambda Law Society and Italian Law Students Association, and the Symposium Editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal for the 2021 symposium, “Does an Impartial Jury Exist? An Analysis of Implicit Bias in Jury Selection.”
