Pullman & Comley Announces Newly Elected Partners And Counsel
BRIDGEPORT, CT., January 3, 2019: Pullman & Comley, LLC announced today that five associates have been promoted to partner and counsel positions within the firm. Attorneys Russell F. Anderson, Megan Y. Carannante, Michael A. Ceccorulli and Steven J. Stafstrom have been named members of the firm. Attorney Edward B. Lefebvre has been named counsel.

The newly promoted attorneys include:
Russell F. Anderson: Russ is a technology attorney in the Business and Finance practice. He reviews, drafts and negotiates license agreements for software, and other forms of intellectual property (such as trademarks and copyrights), and common technology contracts, including terms of use for mobile applications and software-as-a-service offerings. In the marketing and advertising field, Russ structures compliant advertising and promotions and negotiates agreements between advertisers and agencies. He also represents pharmaceutical and medical device-related entities on contracts common in the pharmaceutical industry and represents health care providers, including physicians, hospitals and home health care agencies on matters relating to contracts, accreditation, licensure and Medicare/Medicaid. Russ received his B.A. Wesleyan University in 2001 and his J.D. from the College of William & Mary in 2004.
Megan Youngling Carannante: Megan is an attorney in Pullman & Comley’s Litigation and Employment practices. Her practice includes counseling on and litigating business, construction, and employment disputes for a wide range of clients from small business owners to Fortune 500 companies in state and federal court, mediation and arbitration. She has significant appellate experience and was a former Connecticut Appellate Court clerk. Megan also regularly trains employers to ensure they are in compliance with state and federal law and assists them in navigating and resolving complicated personnel issues. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York. Megan was a summer associate at the firm and received her B.A. from Emory University in 2003 and her J.D. from Boston College in 2006.
Michael A. Ceccorulli: Mike practices in the firm’s real estate, land use and commercial finance practice groups, representing clients on all aspects of real estate, finance, and general transactional matters. He has substantial experience in the development and redevelopment of commercial real estate, including legacy industrial brownfields impacted by environmental conditions. Mike regularly represents clients in complex land use and zoning matters involving large-scale projects throughout Connecticut. He has represented borrowers and lenders in numerous asset-based and real estate-based financing transactions and represents landlords and tenants in connection with the lease of retail, office and industrial facilities. Mike received his B.A. from University of Connecticut in 2003 and his J.D. from American University in 2006.
Edward B. Lefebvre: Ted practices in the areas of business and commercial disputes, securities litigation, and complex general civil litigation. Counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department, he has represented a range of clients – individual, business, and governmental – in state court, federal court, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Prior to joining Pullman & Comley in 2008, Ted was a summer law clerk to the Hon. Mary F. Walrath, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, and was a summer associate at the firm. He also serves on the Bridgeport Community Board of Junior Achievement of Western Connecticut. Ted received his B.A. from Yale University in 2005 and his J.D. from Boston College in 2008.
Steven J. Stafstrom Jr.: Steve is an attorney in Pullman & Comley’s Litigation practice representing clients in the areas of commercial and business, banking, securities and general civil litigation, as well as real estate and land use. His practice includes representation of businesses and individuals before state and federal courts and arbitration and mediation boards. He also represents investment advisors, broker dealers and investors in Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities, arbitrations and mediations and handles zoning and land use matters before Connecticut municipal agencies and appeals in Superior Court. Steve is also a member of the Connecticut General Assembly representing the 129th Assembly District (Bridgeport). In that role, Representative Stafstrom serves as House Chairman of the Judiciary Committee and on the Finance, Revenue and Bonding, and Planning and Development Committees. Prior to joining the firm, Steve was a summer associate. He received his B.A. from Fairfield University in 2005 and his J.D. from Saint Louis University in 2008.
