CT Law

Pullman & Comley, LLC is pleased to announce that the attorneys in its Property Tax and Valuation Department (PTVD) have authored the Connecticut chapter of the American Bar Association’s recently-published The Law of Eminent Domain: Fifty-State Survey (Second Edition).  In the chapter, co-authors Laura Cardillo, Elliott Pollack, Gregory Servodidio, CRE and Michael Marafito discuss the Connecticut statutes and caselaw that govern such issues as condemnation procedures, considerations in calculating just compensation in both total and partial takings, how to challenge inadequate compensation awards and inverse condemnation claims.  The publication will be a useful resource for eminent domain practitioners across the country.

In addition to this publication, PTVD members have authored the Connecticut chapter of all 29 editions of the ABA’s Property Tax Deskbook.  Also, Gregory Servodidio, CRE is the Connecticut member of the Owners’ Counsel of America (OCA) which is recognized as the preeminent national organization of eminent domain attorneys.
