According to a recent NewHavenBIZ article, "Cannabis Counseling: Recreational Marijuana Could Mean Bigger Business for Law Firms," Connecticut could see a greater need for real estate and land use attorneys and an increased demand for legal assistance from out-of-state businesses looking to expand into Connecticut if the use of recreational marijuana is legalized in the state.

Andrew Glassman, a member of Pullman & Comley's Cannabis, CBD and Hemp Industry Team, assisted companies looking to do business in the medical marijuana industry when Connecticut first legalized the use of medical marijuana in 2012.  Andy said that the legalization of recreational marijuana will lead to a need for more lawyers because "people will be needing to get up to speed on the regulations and the law."
