Joshua Hawks-Ladds Quoted by CNBC on Unemployment Benefits as Workplaces Reopen

Joshua Hawks-Ladds, chair of Pullman & Comley’s Labor, Employment Law and Employee Benefits department, addressed unemployment eligibility for those who refuse to return to work when businesses reopen.  Employers must follow safety guidelines from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to ensure they are providing safe working conditions, or the employees may be able to claim unemployment benefits. Josh explains “There are many whistleblower complaints being filed with OSHA for employees complaining about Covid-19 exposure issues.”
