IN THE NEWS: Marcy Stovall Discusses Relocating Attorneys Ability to Immediately Practice

Pullman & Comley Professional Liability attorney Marcy Tench Stovall was quoted in, "Relocating Lawyers Will Have To Wait To Practice," an article about a proposal to allow newly relocated attorneys to practice in Connecticut while awaiting their formal bar admission.

According to Marcy, "Lawyer mobility has been a key reason for other rule changes.  For instance, there is a proposed amendment to Rule 1.6, which concerns lawyers who change firms. Under the current rule, attorneys are banned from revealing client information, unless the client first gives informed consent."
