  • March 12:  "Managing your Homeowners' Association: What Every Board Member Needs to Know" 
  • March 26:  "Capital Improvement Financing for Condominiums and Homeowners' Associations"

The March 12 session, “Managing your Homeowners' Association: What Every Board Member Needs to Know” will be led by attorney Adam J. Cohen, Chair of the Firm’s Community Associations Section and will address:

  • The basic types of homeowners associations, how they differ from each other, and what they can and can’t do
  • The powers, responsibilities, and risks of serving as board members and officers
  • The impact of recent legislation and court rulings

In the March 26 session, "Capital Improvement Financing for Condominiums and Homeowners' Associations," Real Estate attorney Joshua Cole will address the following topics:

  • Navigating the closing process from commitment letter through closing and everything in between
  • Loan structures
  • Collateral
  • Due diligence deliveries and requirements
  • Typical loan documents and provisions

Both of the sessions will begin at 7:30 a.m. in our Westport office location:
