PROGRAM: Attorneys David P. Atkins and Adam S. Mocciolo to present "Ethics For In-House Counsel" for ACC

Pullman & Comley Litigation Practice and Professional Liability Section attorneys David P. Atkins (Chair, Professional Liability Section) and Adam S. Mocciolo presented an Ethics CLE course for the Association of Corporate Counsel Westchester/Southern Connecticut chapter on December 9, 2016.

Their program, titled "Negotiation Ethics For In-House Counsel," explored:

• Are there limits in what an advocate can or cannot say during the course of a negotiation?
• Is an in-house counsel ever required to refuse a client's negotiating instructions even if the client is also the counsel's employer?
• When an employer cannot be persuaded to negotiate honestly, is an in-house lawyer required to resign?
