Kelly Scott to Speak on Unauthorized Delegation of Judicial Authority in Parenting
Pullman & Comley Family Law practice chair Kelly A. Scott will join the Connecticut Bar Foundation’s (CBF) Fellow Roundtable Forum, “Unauthorized Delegation of Judicial Authority in Parenting,” hosted by Justine Rakich-Kelly of the Children’s Law Center of Connecticut and co-presented by David McGrath of Louden, McGrath, Bryan & Bissonnette. The program will discuss RH v. MH, the 2024 Connecticut Supreme Court decision that reshaped the limits of judicial authority in custody and visitation matters. The presenters will explore the ruling, its practical implications for family law practitioners, and how it informs best practices for crafting clear, enforceable orders that protect children’s needs while preserving judicial integrity.
