2023 Charter School Legal Issues Breakfast

On Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., the Pullman & Comley School Law practice will host a Charter School Legal Issues Breakfast, held in our Bridgeport office.

School Law attorneys Zachary D. Schurin and Mark J. Sommaruga will lead an interactive roundtable discussion of the most important legal issues facing Connecticut's charter schools in the coming school year. Mark and Zach will cover key legislative developments from the 2023 session including changes to existing law regarding charter school funding, school climate, teacher evaluation, multilingual education, SRO agreements, staff training requirements, Title IX and special education as well new religious practices accommodation requirements in light of the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent decision in Groff v. Dejoy.
