PRESS RELEASE: Randall C. Mathieson Joins Pullman & Comley As Partner
BRIDGEPORT, Conn.: Pullman & Comley, LLC has announced that Randall C. Mathieson has joined the firm as a partner based in the firm’s Bridgeport office. He will be a member of the firm’s Corporate and Business practice.

Robert Morris, Chairman of Pullman & Comley. “His legal background combined with his business experience, both in private practice and at several major companies in the Northeast, will be a significant asset to our corporate and business clients.”
Rand's practice includes corporate and securities law, contracts, franchising, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial financing, private equity, venture capital and regulatory compliance. He joined Pullman & Comley from Fantastic Sams International, a franchise company with more than 1300 locations worldwide, where he served as senior vice president and general counsel. Prior to that, he was in private practice in New Haven, Connecticut. Earlier in his career he served as chief operating officer of Cardiopulmonary Corporation, a high-tech medical device company with worldwide distribution, and as general counsel of Carvel Corporation, the international ice cream company. In addition to 35 years of legal experience, Rand has considerable financial and operations experience, including transaction negotiation and structuring, due diligence reviews, strategic planning, quality systems, debt and equity syndication, fraud investigations, business valuations and investor relations. He has been designated an "Accredited Valuation Analyst" by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Rand is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He received his B.S.E. in aerospace engineering, cum laude, from Princeton University; his M.B.A., with special distinction, from the Cornell Graduate School of Management; and his J.D., cum laude, from Cornell Law School, where he served as the Note and Comment Editor for the Cornell International Law Journal.
