Pullman & Comley Releases Report on Town of Bethany Investigation

In October 2024, the Board of Selectmen of the Town of Bethany commissioned Retired Judge Robert L. Holzberg of the law firm of Pullman & Comley to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the Town’s and its First Selectman’s response to allegations of sexual abuse of children by a Parks & Recreation employee.  Judge Holzberg and the investigation team were charged with establishing the relevant facts; identifying breaches of policies, laws, and regulations, and providing recommendations and resources on best practices for the Town’s recreation and childcare programs.
