Kristin B. Mayhew and Sebastian D'Acunto, two partners who both joined Pullman & Comley in early December 2022, spoke to Law360 about their experience and what drew them to moving their practices to Pullman.

Kristin Mayhew brings over 20 years of experience to the firm's Litigation and Bankruptcy, Creditors' Rights and Financial Restructuring practices. She represents creditors, secured lenders, Chapter 11 trustees, commercial landlords and others in reorganizations and liquidations in federal bankruptcy court and out-of-court workouts. Kristin is also a past president and chairperson of the Connecticut chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and currently a member of its board of directors. Additionally, Kristin chairs the Connecticut Bar Association's commercial law and bankruptcy section executive committee.

"For years I've known Pullman's corporate restructuring and bankruptcy attorneys and have had a tremendous amount of respect for their vast experience and the firm's reputation for delivering superior service to clients," Kristin told Law360. "I am excited to now be working with these dedicated and talented professionals and be part of the growing bankruptcy team," she added.

Sebastian D'Acunto joins the firm's Trusts and Estates practice. He brings vast experience in general estate planning and business succession planning and works with clients and their advisers on strategies to govern and preserve assets and transfer wealth while minimizing tax exposure. He also conducts business transactions and real estate matters for both domestic and international clients. An active member of the Fairfield County community, over the years he has served the City of Stamford, Connecticut as a member of the Tax Assessment Board of Appeals, the Board of Ethics, and the Mayor’s Multicultural Council. Through his affiliation with numerous non-profit organizations, such as UNICO, and the Italian Center of Stamford, Seby has helped raise funds and awareness for many worthwhile causes.

Seby told Law360 "I have had the following quote by Nelson Mandela in my office for some time 'There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.' It has inspired me to continuously better myself in my professional and personal life. Having the privilege and honor of joining this firm is a pinnacle in my career."
