Andrew Glassman Talks Cannabis Industry on Marijuana Mind Podcast
Attorney Andrew C. Glassman, chair of Pullman & Comley's Cannabis, CBD and Hemp team and co-chair of the firm's Business Organizations and Finance practice, joined co-hosts Cynthia Brewer and Dr. Justin Davis on the Marijuana Mind podcast to discuss the Connecticut recreational cannabis license application process, social equity initiatives, how legal frameworks differ from state to state, and more.
Andy discussed the significance of the social equity initiative that exists in the state of Connecticut, noting the critical statute that created the Social Equity Council to ensure that Connecticut communities that were disproportionately affected by the War on Drugs would benefit from the new recreational cannabis market.
Andy also spoke about the growth of cannabis businesses in Connecticut since the use of recreational marijuana became legal in 2021, and provided helpful information about the industry for cannabis businesses looking to be successful.
