Thomas Lambert and Lauren Davies to Speak on Fiduciary Misconduct and Legal Ethics in Estate Administration
Pullman & Comley attorneys Lauren C. Davies and Thomas S. Lambert will participate in an all-day webinar, "Connecticut Estate Administration Tasks and Disputes," hosted by the National Business Institute. The program will cover a range of topics related to estate administration and dispute resolution.
Tom’s presentation, "Fiduciary Misconduct Disputes in Detail," will begin at 2 p.m. and will cover interpreting testamentary intent, objections to accounts and petitions, using mediation to prevent escalation, notices of proposed action, document requests and depositions and the use of financial experts in Trust & Estates disputes.
Lauren’s presentation, "Legal Ethics in Estate Administration," will start at 3:30 p.m. and will address client capacity questions, the ever-expanding duty of competence, confidentiality and deceased clients, communicating with third parties and managing conflicts of interest.
