APRL Annual Meeting

Pullman & Comley Litigation attorney Marcy Tench Stovall was a panel moderator at the Annual Meeting of the national Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers (APRL), which was held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the American Bar Association.  The panel discussion -- titled "Advising Clients in the Regulated Marijuana Trade: Hazardous to Professional Health?" -- addressed the professional responsibility consequences for lawyers whose clients are engaged in organizing and operating regulated marijuana enterprises blessed by state law.  The panelists also discussed whether the Rules of Professional Conduct should be amended to provide disciplinary safe harbor provisions for such representation.
