David Atkins to Speak at CBA's Annual Connecticut Legal Conference

Pullman & Comley's Professional Liability attorney David P. Atkins will speak at three sessions at the Connecticut Bar Association's 2022 Connecticut Legal Conference.

David will kick off the morning with a family law seminar covering common ethical pitfalls for family law practitioners and how to minimize the risk of disciplinary (grievance) complaint, a legal malpractice complaint or both. Attendees are eligible for 1.0 ethics credits.

In his second session, "Better Safe Than Sorry," David will lead a comprehensive discussion on how lawyers can minimize potential exposure to malpractice and disciplinary claims. Attendees are eligible for 2.0 ethics credits.

David's last session "Getting Paid: Ethical and Practical Considerations for Fees,” will outline the ethical requirements for fee arrangements for lawyers. He will also offer practical advice on how to avoid fee disputes with clients, and how to best deal with them if they arise. Attendees are eligible for 1.0 ethics credits.
