Overview

Kurt D. Sheathelm is a paralegal who assists in all areas of the law, with a focus in environmental, land use and energy matters.   His work involves environmental and energy litigation matters, telecommunication matters, and land use applications and appeals.  Kurt also handles matters before several state and federal agencies, including the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, the Public Utility Regulatory Authority, the Connecticut Siting Council, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.  Kurt's background in surveying is instrumental in the coordination of applications to local land use and wetland agencies and his experience with interpreting maps, surveys and plans is beneficial with major projects, such as the creation of the Connecticut Airport Authority.  Kurt is experienced in computerized research and the coordination of documents for litigation, assistance with criminal defense matters, complex applications and responses to the state Department of Consumer Protection.
