Deadline Reminder: BCBS Settlement Claims Due by July 29, 2025

Pullman & Comley is issuing this reminder to health care providers who have treated or provided services, equipment, or supplies to patients insured by Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) between July 24, 2008 and October 4, 2024 that they may be entitled to compensation under a $2.67 billion antitrust class action settlement. The deadline to file a claim is July 29, 2025.

The settlement arises from the case In re: Blue Cross Blue Shield Antitrust Litigation, which alleged that BCBS entities unlawfully agreed not to compete in certain geographic regions and conspired to fix reimbursement rates. While BCBS denies any liability, the parties agreed to settle to avoid protracted litigation.

Important Information Regarding Provider Claims:

• Eligible providers include physicians, facilities, and other health care professionals who rendered covered services to BCBS-insured patients during the class period.
• Both professional and institutional claims may qualify.

• Beware of fraudulent websites or third-party solicitations promising faster payouts or charging fees to assist with claims.
