IN THE NEWS: Elliott Pollack Discusses Valuation of Continuing Care Retirement Center's Developments

In, "Court OK's 'Hypothetical' Approach To Tax Valuation" Pullman & Comley Property Valuation Department Chair Elliott Pollack discusses how the Town of Redding employed a hypothetical assumption in valuing a large CCRC which was upheld at trial and recently sustained by the Connecticut Supreme Court.

According to Elliott, "In addition to having the use of over $100 million in non-interest bearing largely refundable entry fees, part of what makes the Meadow Ridge CCRC successful — and valuable — is a combination of luck, timing and psychologically attractive pricing features."
