David Atkins Discusses Attorney Ethics Rules and Multiple Target Criminal Investigations

In "All The Candidate's Men" Pullman & Comley Professional Liability attorney David Atkins was quoted in a Connecticut Law Tribune article about the application of attorney ethics rules to criminal defense practitioners, who receive successive contacts from two or more prospective clients each seeking representation in the same pending criminal investigation.  The dilemma has been highlighted by the ongoing federal campaign financing probe into the congressional campaign of Connecticut House Speaker Christopher G. Donovan.  

According to David, "The confidentiality of those conversations [with prospective clients] and all sensitive information that is learned is broadly protected, even though no actual attorney-client representation ensues."
