IN THE NEWS: Brad Mondschein Comments on Sales Tax on Cell Phone Internet Use

Pullman & Comley attorney Brad N. Mondschein was quoted in an article in the February 22, 2010, Connecticut Law Tribune, "Smart Phone Users Call Sales Tax Dumb Idea," about recent lawsuits alleging that AT&T is illegally charging sales tax on Internet use for their cellular service. 

"AT&T will claim that accessing your e-mail uses Internet protocol technology but is not accessing the quote, unquote Internet," said Brad.  "So the question is, is a data plan accessing the Internet and therefore not subject to sales tax?"
