Who Funds Arts and Culture?
Pullman & Comley Attorney Kelly O'Donnell was interviewed by David Green of The Cultural Alliance Of Fairfield County as part of his monthly "Spotlight on Arts & Culture" program on WPKN radio.
The topic of the August 2019 conversation was "Who Funds Arts & Culture? A Window into Local Philanthropy,” and included Kelly, who practices in the area of Business Organizations and Finance law and also serves as president of the board of directors of City Lights and Company in Bridgeport, as well as Lauren Patterson, Executive Director of the New Canaan Community Foundation. Topics included how organizations fund arts and culture in their communities across Connecticut, ideas about what makes a community, and encouraging collaboration with grantees and other funders to maximize results.
