Tobacco Valley Development Forum

Pullman & Comley was pleased to present the Tobacco Valley Development Forum, designed to give towns and landowners the opportunity to showcase land that is available for development.  They heard about state and private initiatives to encourage development from experts in the private and public sector, including Department of Economic and Community Development; Connecticut Business & Industry Association; and representatives from the Department of Transportation, Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection, and private consultants.  

Break-out sessions included topics such as financial incentives for development, transit-oriented development, streamlining local permitting to encourage development and managing contaminated property.
