SEMINAR: "DEEP Transformed?"

Two years ago the departments of Public Utility Control and Environmental Protection were merged to produce the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). The agency's job is to deal with Connecticut's important energy and environmental issues, while at the same time, encouraging economic growth.

Commissioner Daniel Esty spoke about key transformation processes DEEP is attempting at this time, including Connecticut's remediation programs, energy issues, and other programs at the department. Following Commissioner Esty's talk, Deputy Commissioner Macky McCleary and a panel of Pullman & Comley lawyers offered insight on the present and future effects of environmental and energy regulation in Connecticut.
