Mark Sommaruga to Speak on Key Labor and Employment Changes from Connecticut’s 2026 Legislative Session
Pullman & Comley Labor and Employment Attorney Mark J. Sommaruga will present a legislative wrap-up webinar for the Connecticut Council of Small Towns (COST) examining key labor and employment developments from the 2026 Connecticut General Assembly session. The session will discuss the recently enacted omnibus labor bill, HB-5003, which was signed into law by Governor Lamont and includes several provisions impacting municipal employers. Topics will include portal-to-portal workers’ compensation, teacher terminations, breastfeeding accommodations in the workplace, enhanced workers’ compensation benefits for teachers and healthcare workers assaulted in the workplace, and wage and benefits disclosure requirements.
