Judge Marshall Berger (Ret.) to Speak on Attorney Risk in Connecticut's Release-Based Cleanup Program
Pullman & Comley Judge Marshall Berger (Ret.) will join the Connecticut Bar Association’s Environmental Law Section Meeting to discuss ethical considerations for attorneys under the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's (DEEP) new Release-Based Cleanup Regulations (RBCRs), which went into effect this year. The new RBCRs set risk-based standards for reporting, characterizing and remediating releases of hazardous substances, replacing the Transfer Act.
