Attorney George J. Kasper Presented "Recent Developments Shaping Plan Fiduciary Responsibilities"

Pullman & Comley attorney George J. Kasper, a member in the Labor, Employment Law & Employee Benefits practice, was a presenter at the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) Employee Benefits Plans Conference that took place on June 2, 2017.  This day long program, held at the CTCPA Education Center in Rocky Hill, was designed for auditors of employee benefits plans, or those who advise companies in this area, as well as benefit plan administrators, and was eligible for CPE credit.

George's afternoon presentation, "Recent Developments Shaping Plan Fiduciary Responsibilities," focused on regulatory developments of the U.S. Department of Labor as well as recent court rulings impacting retirement plan fiduciaries, including an update on the DOL's new fiduciary rule.  He also joined the Q & A Wrap-Up Panel Discussion, which gave seminar participants the opportunity ask the presenters questions on their presentation topics.
