The New Environment in Connecticut for the Investment and Management of Trust and Charitable Assets

Patricia Beauregard, a trust and estates attorney at Pullman &  Comley co-authored an article in the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal, Volume 14, 2000, with Jessie Giilbert, Esq.  The article discusses laws in Connecticut prior to the passage of the Connecticut Uniform Prudent Investor Act of 1997 and the Connecticut Principal and Income Act of 1999.  It also reviews how the Connecticut Uniform Prudent Investor Act changed the law governing trust investments and how the Connecticut Principal and Income Act complements the changes.
