The Curse of Unmonitored BlackBerry Use

Pullman & Comley attorneys Joshua Hawks-Ladds and Megan Youngling discuss how personal digital assistants can increase employers’ exposure for overtime and record-keeping liabilities in their article, “The Curse of Unmonitored BlackBerry Use: Personal Digital Assistants Can Cause Employers to Run Afoul of Wage Laws,” in the January 2009 Employment and Immigration Law section of The Connecticut Law Tribune. According to Hawks-Ladds and Youngling, employers must reexamine and revise their current policies to reflect PDA usage.
