PRESS RELEASE: Pullman & Comley's Annual Fairfield County Women's Networking Tea Highlights Mission of Project Return

BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut On May 25, the first warm evening of the spring, more than 150 women gathered at the historic Stamford Museum and Nature Center to celebrate Pullman & Comley’s annual Fairfield County Women’s Networking Tea.  Now in its nineteenth year, the event is hosted by Pullman & Comley’s Women’s Leadership Initiative and provides an opportunity for women professionals to network while also supporting the work of a local nonprofit organization.

“I am amazed at the level of energy created when dynamic women get together and share ideas,” said Nancy D. Lapera, chair of Pullman & Comley’s Women’s Initiative.  “What started out years ago as a small group of professional women, has grown to a respected and celebratory networking event where colleagues can reunite while also providing an opportunity for making new connections.”

This year’s event paid tribute to Project Return, a therapeutic group home that empowers young women in crisis to rebuild their lives in a safe and structured environment.  Project Return provides a number of services, including residential, individualized treatment in a home-like setting for young women ages 17-23; an after school community service program, HEAL, for girls ages 14-18; and an aftercare program for up to six months after each resident leaves Project Return.  For additional information, please visit
