Pullman & Comley Welcomes Four Summer Associates in 2026
Pullman & Comley is pleased to welcome our 2026 Summer Associates - Jillian Grande, Olivia Kingston, Kassidy Planas and Matthew Biscoglio (pictured left to right). We look forward to the energy and talent they bring to the firm this summer!
Matthew Biscoglio is a J.D. candidate at Quinnipiac University School of Law and earned his B.S. in Finance from Providence College. Matthew gained prior legal experience as a law clerk with Legacy Law Partners, where he assisted with estate planning, probate administration, and business planning matters. He also brings experience from internships with CrowdStrike and New England Home Mortgage, as well as an externship with the Honorable Kari A. Dooley of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. Matthew has been actively involved in community service with the Mill Foundation for Kids for more than a decade.
Jillian Grande is a J.D. candidate at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she is a Dean’s Scholar, an ABA Judicial Clerkship Program Scholar, and an Associate Editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science and Women & Gender Studies from the University of Connecticut and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Jillian served as a law clerk with Pullman & Comley in the spring of 2025 and previously served as a legal intern with the City of New Haven’s Office of Corporation Counsel, assisting with litigation, legal research, and trial preparation. She has also held leadership roles in several student organizations and brings extensive experience in education, community programming, and public service.
Olivia Kingston is a J.D. candidate at the University of Connecticut School of Law and earned her B.S., magna cum laude, in Management from Fairfield University, where she received the Patrick J. Waide Applied Ethics Award. Olivia has worked in civil litigation since 2019 with the Law Office of William J. Whewell, LLC and Rosenberg & Hite, LLC. In those roles, she assisted with litigation matters from intake through post-judgment proceedings, drafted pleadings and discovery materials, and supported case strategy development. She is also involved in UConn Law’s Negotiation and Dispute Resolution program.
Kassidy Planas is a J.D. candidate at Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she serves as co-president of the Public Interest Law Project, Director of Community Engagement for the Latino Law Student Association, and a trainer for the Human Trafficking Prevention Project. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Suffolk University. Kassidy gained legal experience through the Quinnipiac Civil Justice Clinic, an internship with the Honorable Julie A. Manning of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut, and a summer legal assistant position with the Law Offices of Bradford J. Sullivan. She is also fluent in Spanish and has been recognized for her award-winning honors research on public education resource allocation.
