IN THE NEWS: Alan Sobol Explains When To Pursue Criminal Charges In Death Of Child

Pullman & Comley White Collar, Criminal Defense and Corporate Investigations attorney Alan Sobol was quoted in an article titled, "Connecticut Lawyer Pushes Safety Measures After Son Dies in Hot Car."  The article debates the question of whether a crime is committed when an act of carelessness results in a child's death.

According to Alan, "As a prosecutor, you have to distinguish the parents who are very good parents, who have no history of child abuse, from someone who does something either intentionally, or as the result of being wanton or reckless."
