SEMINAR: What You Need to Know About Family Responsibility Discrimination

Schwartz was a speaker at this seminar sponsored by the CT Bar Institute, Inc. Employers are seeing an increasing number of family responsibilities discrimination (FRD) claims, and they are often poorly understood. These claims have been pursued under a variety of both federal and state laws, and have resulted in multimillion-dollar verdicts.  Speakers reviewed tools needed to develop effective measures to identify and prevent FRD and also described how the theories of liability are developed, proved, and defended.
