SEMINAR: "Star Power: Dealing with a Celebrity in Bankruptcy & Collection Matters - Ethical Considerations and Other Concerns"

Pullman & Comley attorney Elizabeth J. Austin, chair of the Bankruptcy section of the Litigation Department, was a a co-panelist at a national seminar for the Atlanta Bar Association titled, "Star Power: Dealing with a Celebrity in Bankruptcy & Collection Matters - Ethical Considerations and Other Concerns."

The panel explored the various considerations and ethical implications that may occur when representing a celebrity client in matters relating to bankruptcy. Discussion topics covered in the presentation included:

  • Scope of Representation
  • Confidentiality
  • Advocating in Opposition or on the Behalf of a Public Party

The seminar was held on November 10, 2015, at the University of Georgia College of Law.
