Mark Sommaruga to Speak on Connecticut's Freedom of Information Act at the Connecticut Library Association (CLA) Conference

Pullman & Comley Municipal Law attorney Mark J. Sommaruga will present "Understanding Connecticut's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)," at the Connecticut Library Association's 2026 Conference. Mark will cover the FOIA’s open meetings and public records requirements, along with key exceptions that are often misconstrued, and provide updated guidance to libraries on determining whether they are subject to the FOIA and, if so, how to navigate its various rules and exceptions.
