EVENT: DEEP One Year Later

Breakfast with the Commissioner and Legislative Update: A Conversation with Commissioner Daniel C. Esty

One year ago the Departments of Public Utility Control and Environmental Protection were merged to produce the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). This new agency's job is to deal with Connecticut's important energy and environmental issues while, at the same time, encouraging economic growth.  

Daniel Esty, DEEP's first Commissioner, discussed how DEEP is dealing with its important mandate and offer insight on the recently completed legislative session. His presentation was followed by practical insights from a panel of Pullman & Comley's attorneys on recent energy and environmental regulatory developments.
