Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated senior Public Finance Attorney to join our large growing practice. You will lead complex municipal bond transactions and provide strategic counsel to public and private entities across Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Leadership: Act as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, or borrower's counsel on diverse public finance matters.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Advise clients on state and federal tax laws, securities regulations, and Connecticut municipal statutes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Interface with senior stakeholders, government officials, and financial institutions.

 Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 8–15 years of dedicated private practice in public finance or municipal bond law.
  • Communication: Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and oral communication skills for high-stakes transactional work.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Housing experience: Structure and close low-income housing transactions, including those involving federal and state tax credits (LIHTC).
  • Connecticut Licensure: Active and in good standing with the Connecticut State Bar.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Flexibility: Pullman & Comley supports the flexibility provided by a hybrid work model. Our attorneys are asked to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week to benefit from in-person connection and collaboration.
