Potoula P. Tournas is an Associate in the Litigation and Real Estate practices. She was a member of the firm’s 2019 Summer Associate Program and graduated in May 2020 from the University of Connecticut School of Law. During law school, Potoula served as a judicial intern in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut for the Honorable Alfred V. Covello and worked as a legal extern at a law firm in New Britain. She also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal and was a member of the Mock Trial Society where she was a National Trial Competition's Regional Finalist in Spring 2019 and a Mock Trial Davis Competition Quarter Finalist in Fall 2017.
Prior to law school she gained litigation experience working as a litigation and securities assistant at a law firm in Manhattan where she provided support during pre-trial motion practice and at trial for multiple securities arbitrations. Potoula also worked as an office clerk at an Intellectual Property firm located in Stamford and was a law library and research assistant at a firm in Boston. Potoula is fluent in Greek and is an active member of her Greek community.
