Overview
Gwaina D. Wauldon is an associate practicing in Pullman & Comley's Labor, Employment Law and Employee Benefits department. She focuses on education and labor law and has significant experience in Title IX and compliance with state and federal anti-discrimination and anti-harassment laws. Prior to joining Pullman & Comley, she was an attorney for the State of Connecticut Department of Education's Connecticut Technical High School and Career System, where she provided legal advice to the agency on a variety of school law topics and employment and labor relations matters. Before that, Gwaina worked as the Executive Director of Equal Opportunity Programs and Title IX Compliance at the University of Hartford. Earlier, she worked as the Title IX Coordinator and Director of Student Accessibility for the University of Bridgeport. Gwaina served as Program Director for Families in Crisis, Inc., a criminal justice agency where she has assisted Connecticut clients state-wide in domestic violence and reentry programs for six years after law school graduation. While in law school, Gwaina served as Administrative Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal. Gwaina was the winner of the Alva P. Loiselle Moot Court Competition and was also a member of the Moot Court Board.
