Russell Anderson to Participate in CT Bar Association Meeting on Connecticut Privacy Law

Privacy and Data Security attorney Russell F. Anderson will participate in a seminar, "The New Connecticut Consumer Date Privacy Law: Important Considerations for Business Lawyers" as part of the 2023 Connecticut Bar Association's Connecticut Legal Conference.  The program will provide an overview of the CT Data Privacy Act set to take effect on July 1, 2023, with an emphasis on business obligations under the Act and how they interact with other duties and obligations.  The session will also cover strategies for compliance and address coordinating compliance efforts with laws in other jurisdictions.  In particular, Russ will discuss best practices that Connecticut companies can implement, including what a privacy program might be comprised of for Connecticut companies.
