Anderson of Pullman & Comley's Business and Finance and Marketing, Advertising and Entertainment Law practices will present, "Get High on Marketing Law 2020: What Can CBD, TikTok and the CCPA Teach Us About Your Next Marketing Challenges?"  The program, hosted by the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Westchester/Southern Connecticut chapter, will provide an overview of what we saw in 2019, and what we should expect in 2020, including: 

  • A review of the CBD/hemp regulatory environment and functional claims and what conclusions can be drawn for other products; 
  • Tips for ADA website compliance and a look at the next ADA targets;
  • Social Media Update – How to provide adequate disclosures on budding platforms (e.g. TikTok, Instagram Stories and podcasts); and 
  • Using “privacy by design” to structure your marketing programs to comply with the CCPA, TCPA and the impending wave of state and federal privacy laws
