Pullman & Comley honors Pride Month 2025 in support of the LGBTQ+ community. We are proud of the many trailblazers at our firm, past and present, who have worked tirelessly toward equal rights for all. We celebrate and remain committed to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion within our firm, and we stand with those seeking to cultivate these values in our communities at large.
Our attorneys—including John Stafstrom, Jessica Grossarth Kennedy, Beck Fineman and Bianca LoGiurato — are leaders in advancing LGBTQ+ rights through advocacy, leadership and public service. In addition, we are immensely proud of our former law partner, Andrew McDonald for his service to our state, both in writing the legislation in Connecticut that resulted in legalizing gay marriage and for being selected as Connecticut’s first openly gay Justice on the Supreme Court; and of our former partner, Erick Russell, who assisted Jessica Kennedy in the formation of the LGBT Section of the CBA and now serves as State Treasurer, the first openly gay African American elected to a statewide office in our nation.
While we celebrate Pride Month in June, we recognize that the struggle for a decent and welcoming society is a yearlong, everyday task, and the work continues. Our firm stands strong and united in fostering diversity, equity and inclusion.
Pullman & Comley was proud to welcome Lambda Legal CEO Kevin Jennings this summer for an insightful discussion on the ongoing legal challenges facing the LGBTQ+ community. Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of LGBTQ+ people and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.
