Pullman & Comley Teams Up with Connecticut Children's Medical Center at Frog Hollow SAFE's Community Cleanup Day

The Hartford Courant recently covered a community cleanup day competition hosted by Frog Hollow SAFE (Safety Alliance for Everyone) on July 27, 2019. The principle guiding SAFE's work is that clean streets make the neighborhood more attractive for the people who work and live there, and less attractive for those who pursue illegal activities. More than 20 Pullman & Comley employees were among dozens of community members and organizations who took to the streets, collecting trash and recycling around the Frog Hollow neighborhood. Teams of six to eight raced against the clock with prizes awarded for the greatest number of trash bags collected, social media posts and shares, and "311" calls about problems including potholes and downed power cables.
