IN THE NEWS: Stamford Superior Court Awards Settlement to Town of Fairfield in Madoff Case

Pullman & Comley Litigation attorney Richard Robinson represented the Town of Fairfield with David Golub of Silver Golub & Teitell against investment firm Maxam Capital Management. Maxam, unknown to the town, invested Fairfield's retirement fund in the Bernard Madoff multi-billion dollar Ponzi scheme.
The town originally had originally invested over $15.4 million with Maxam and according to First Selectman Mike Tetreau, the Stamford Superior Court judgement helped them achieve 100% of their investment loss.
