BRIDGEPORT, Conn.: Editors of the ABA Journal today announced they have selected the Connecticut Employment Law Blog (www.ctemploymentlawblog.com/), published by Pullman & Comley attorney Daniel A. Schwartz, as one of the top 100 best websites by lawyers, for lawyers. This marks the third consecutive year that Dan’s blog was named to the list and his blog is the only site from Connecticut listed.
In the Fifth Annual American Bar Association’s ABA Journal “Blawg 100,” Dan’s blog was listed in the “Labor and Employment” category and noted by the editors for "thoughtful posts and insightful analysis that touch on subjects well beyond Connecticut." It went on to quote one blog nomination as stating, “This well-written, timely blog provides an objective description of cases and decisions of concern to employment attorneys, employers and unions. It has become such an outstanding resource that most attorneys check it daily.”
"Blogging has become an important, even vital, source of information, education, entertainment and inspiration in the legal community. Whether written by practicing lawyers, law students, judges or law professors, blawgs are becoming more bold, more sophisticated and more integrated into the everyday experience of the profession," said Allen Pusey, editor and publisher of the ABA Journal. "And choosing just 100 of the best from our directory of 3,500 legal blogs is becoming an increasingly daunting task."
Now readers are being asked to vote on their favorites in each of the 5th Annual Blawg 100’s 12 categories. Go to http://www.abajournal.com/blawg100 to register and vote. Voting ends at close of business on December 30, 2011.
“I really enjoy helping clients with their employment law issues, so I feel very lucky to be recognized for something I love doing.” says Dan. “And to be recognized for three years running is very special. It’s tough to think of what to do for an encore.”
A member of Pullman & Comley’s Labor & Employment practice, Dan has extensive trial and litigation experience in both the federal and state courts in a variety of areas, and represents employers in various employment law matters.
