PRESS RELEASE: Carrianna K. Field Joins Quest Class of 2011

HARTFORD: Carrianna K. Field, an attorney at Pullman & Comley, LLC, has been accepted into the Quest class of 2011, a program offered by Leadership Greater Hartford (LGH).

Carrie practices in the firm’s Public Finance and Corporate and Business practices.  A resident of West Hartford, she volunteers for Lawyers for Children America and is vice chair of the board of directors and chair of the Racial Justice and Advocacy Committee of the YWCA of the Hartford Region.  Carrie received her B.A., cum laude, with high honors in psychology and German studies from Mount Holyoke College in 1997 and her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2007.

Quest, now in its 35th year, is the signature leadership development program of Leadership Greater Hartford. The program brings together rising and established leaders from the greater Hartford area to strengthen leadership skills, create professional relationships and learn about important community issues. The eleven month program consists of workshops, community tours and collaborative team projects that address a pressing community need. This year’s Quest projects are partnering with the following area organizations: Camp Courant, Governor’s Prevention Partnership, YWCA Hartford Region with Covenant Prep, and Catholic Charities.

“The Quest Program has a great track record of serving the greater Hartford community,” says Carrie.  “I’m looking forward to learning and applying new leadership skills for a project that will enhance the ability of fathers to access crucial support services in the City of Hartford."

Carrie’s Quest taskforce will research and create a resource guide for professionals and fathers to assist them in accessing and negotiating the services they need to be active, engaged and informed parents.  The goal is to encourage fathers to seek out parenting resources within the city designed to improve and develop parental skills and promote positive father-child attachment, thus increasing parental involvement. This project also aims to give fathers vital information about crucial social services, educational and employment opportunities.
