PRESS RELEASE: New Pullman & Comley Website A Team Effort

BRIDGEPORT, Conn.:  Pullman & Comley, LLC, a law firm celebrating its 90th year in Connecticut, has launched a new website and a new look.

The firm involved all of its employees in the rebranding process by hosting a friendly competition this past summer inviting attorneys and staff to submit their ideas and concepts to communicate the theme of “pulling together,” which plays off the firm’s name and its culture of pulling together with its clients. The winning results can be seen on the new website, www.pullcom.com, in the home page images and taglines and on the “Community Leadership” page.

“One of the things that makes Pullman & Comley special is our team culture,” said chairman Rob Morris.  “We take great pride in working hard together, but also in maintaining a supportive and collegial environment at our firm.  We truly enjoy one another, and we had a lot of fun with this contest.”

Employees were invited to create a concept in any format: hand-drawn stick figures, clip art, or written description, using the tagline “pulling together.”  Two first prizes were awarded, one for staff and one for attorneys.

The staff winner was Kim Escaleira, a legal secretary in the firm’s Stamford office, for her concept of “Pulling together: In our work … in our communities” which is displayed on the firm’s “Community Leadership” page.  The attorney winner was Tim Ronan, also of Stamford, for the image of two hands detangling a cat’s cradle with the caption “Some problems require more than one set of hands to untangle.”

Honorable mentions included staff members Mary Dupont and Julio Lopez and attorneys Alex Hernandez, Jonathan Orleans, Tim Shearin and Bill Shure of the firm’s Bridgeport office and paralegal Joanna Piscitello and attorney Lee Hoffman of the firm’s Hartford office.

Pullman & Comley, LLC provides a wide range of legal services to clients in the New England region, as well as throughout the United States and internationally.  The firm’s major practice areas include business enterprises, health care, litigation, public and commercial finance, property valuation, real estate and environmental, and trusts and estates.  With offices in Bridgeport, Hartford, Stamford, Connecticut and White Plains, New York, in 2009 the firm was named one of the 25 Best Places to Work in Connecticut by the Hartford Business Journal and Best Companies Group.
